Scholarship Information
Each year, the Triad Seminole Club gives one or more scholarships to area students attending FSU.  Below, you will find the application for the scholarship.  You may print this page and complete, or contact an officer for an emailed version of the application.  All materials must be received by June 1, 2010, for consideration for the 2010 Scholarship.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact any officer. Scholarship Application

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Any person who has been a resident of Alexander, Alleghany, Burke, Caldwell, Davie, Davidson, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Watauga or Wilkes County for at least 1 year prior to the effective date of a scholarship term is eligible to apply.

  2. All applicants must be attending or will be attending FSU.

  3. A student may apply multiple times but can only receive the scholarship one time.

To be considered for the academic year 2010-2011, this application must be completed and returned with one letter of recommendation from a recent instructor and one letter of recommendation from someone well acquainted with you, by June 1, 2010, to the address at the bottom of this application.

Scholarships are awarded based on review by the TSC Officers, subject to verification of facts from FSU.

  3. Involvement in civic, athletic, educational and community service organizations

  4. Essay responses

  5. Letters of recommendation
